May 10th, 2012my cactus is a chamaecereus silvestrii it grows in big finger like stems it has a nice big red,pink and yellow Flowers the Flowers can grow 5* in diameter very nice i have 2 pitchers 1 is with the bud closed the other 1 is when the flower opens. when it is night time the flowers close. when it is day time the flowers open.

8 to 12 ribs for storing water in so it can hold lots of water but don’t give it lots of water make sure the water is room tempter and only give it only a few drops 2 or 3 times a month other wise it will get root rot if you give it to much water. this cacti can have full sun and can survive to tempters of 5 Celsius and up to 30 or 40 Celsius.

small spikes
finger like cactus stems
